Classroom Management is one of the main
keys to having a successful classroom. As your child's teacher I
expect much out of the students just as they should expect
much out of me.
Here is a bit of what I believe about classroom management:
-
Establish classroom rules immediately (even on day 1) and enforce consistently.
-
Students will be expected to follow expectations and rules because consequences will also be set.
-
We will always strive to be positive in our classroom.
-
Students in my classroom will be responsible for their own learning.
-
Students will be praised for their own sake, not for mine.
-
I will model positive behaviors for the students in my class.
-
Organization is KEY to managing a successful classroom
